How often should mulch be replaced?
Most beds need a fresh top layer once a year, usually in spring. Beds with good coverage may only need a light refresh.
How deep should mulch be?
Usually 2 to 3 inches. Too thin and weeds come through. Too thick, or piled against trunks, and it can harm plants.
What color mulch should I choose?
Black and dark brown look clean against most homes and plantings. We can show you samples, and in a 3D design you can see how each color looks with your house.
